課程概述 |
本課程雖為「德意志史二」，但是很歡迎沒有修過「德意志史一」的同學來選修。
本課程分成兩個學期介紹從早期日耳曼、中古與近代的德意志、以及近現代德國史。上課進行方式不完全按照時代先後順序進行，而以主題討論的方式來引導。因為是主題式的探討，並不需要先有「德意志史一」的基礎。
本學期「德意志史二」討論的主題有三：(1) 德意志藝術與文化 ；(2) 軍國主義的建國思維帶給德國的歷史悲劇如何回顧？(3) 二戰後的德國如何面對與處理過去的歷史悲劇，如何找到重新站起來的立足點？
在介紹現代史學詮釋的同時，也同樣重視史料文獻的解讀。配合每一週學生應預先讀好的主題文本並進行口頭分組報告，老師會另外帶領學生讀一篇相關史料，以培養學生深入解讀文獻的能力。 |

課程目標 |
1. 透過古今的對談，引導學生思考十九世紀以「國家的歷史」作為歷史敘述在建構上會產生的問題。
2.透過對歷史的反思，引導學生思考「歷史反省」在社會文化打造上的重大意義。
3. 了解現代德國如何面對過去的歷史。
